Setting future dates for your blog posts

It is possible to write your post and set the publication date for the future so that the post appears at a later date.

• Write the post
• In the Authoring information section, delete the ‘authored on’ time the machine adds and replace with the date you want your post to go live in this format ‘yyyy-mm-dd’. Do not add a time.
• I chose to not send notifications as I was testing, but leave this unticked and a notification mail will be sent to those subscribed to your blogs
• Make sure that Publishing options are set to ‘Published’
