New Resources space!
The new collaborative Transition Resources site brings together practical guides, creative tools, and inspiring materials for all

Welcome to the New Transition Resources
We’re happy to introduce a fresh and growing online space designed to support everyone involved in Transition, from long-time organisers to those just starting out. The new Transition Resources site brings together practical guides, creative tools, and inspiring materials to help nourish and connect the movement.
Over the years, an incredible wealth of knowledge has emerged from local initiatives, trainings, gatherings, and collaborations. This platform is our effort to weave those insights together, making it easier to find what you need, when you need it.
What You’ll Find
The Resources site is organised around real needs and themes that matter to Transitioners, whether you're planning a community conversation, setting up a new initiative, dreaming into the future, or navigating group dynamics. Explore sections like:
- Starting Out – support for new groups and first steps
- Group Culture & Collaboration – practices for thriving together
- Imagination & Visioning – tools to unlock creative thinking
- Practical Projects – ideas to turn vision into action
- Climate & Social Justice – grounding Transition in equity and solidarity
You can search by keyword, browse by theme, language, license, or simply explore what catches your eye.
Co-created and Ever-Evolving
This space is not a finished library, it’s more like a community kitchen. Built from the contributions and learnings of Transition groups across the world, it will continue to grow and evolve as we share more tools, translations, and stories. If you have something you think could help others, we’d love to hear from you.
Add Your Own Resources
If you have tools, guides, templates, stories, or other materials that could support others on their Transition journey – in any language – you’re warmly invited to contribute. Anyone can upload resources directly to the site. Just register, upload your file or link, and tag it with the relevant themes so others can find it easily. Most resources on the site are with a Creative Commons license, but you can choose the license that suits your content. You can post something that you’ve developed locally or translated from another group, in the spirit of solidarity and sharing. Your resource could be just what someone else needs.
Your Feedback Matters
We’d love you to try it out, bookmark it, and let us know what you think. What’s useful? What’s missing? What else would help you in your local work or wider collaborations?
