"We often talk and read a lot about the climate crisis in the news and in the classroom, but this is a place where you can be part of the changes you want to see in the future. This is something bigger than yourself, actions are taken and real changes are happening."
— Hanyun, 24, China | Empowered volunteer at People of Transition
Hanyun Xu - Check out the project she's leading: People of Transition

Young people like Hanyun are stepping up in Transition groups and projects worldwide—bringing bold ideas, urgency, and a hunger to act on climate and social justice. But too often, they’re unseen.

We have just 72 hours left in our Match Funding Campaign, and we’re still £3,400 short of our £4,000 match funding goal. Every £1 you give before April 29 becomes £2, directly funding:

✅ A youth-led global mapping to find and connect young Transitioners.
✅ Training + mentorship + paid work for a young researcher (because peer-led work sticks).
✅ Spaces where generations collaborate—not just coexist.

Why this matters, in their words:

"Real change requires intergenerational collaboration. It’s not about stepping aside—it’s about meeting in the middle, learning from each other, and co-creating something stronger together."

Engaging Youth for a Regenerative Future

The majority of recent visitors to the Transition Network website are between 18 and 35 years old. Young people are present in Transition groups—they
They’re not just the future—they’re building it here, right now

P.S. If you’ve already given, thank you! Time is critical. Forward this to one friend who believes in intergenerational change. Together, we’ll make sure youth aren’t just heard—they’re leading.
