After a good breakfast cooked by Richard Clegg of the Wall Hill farm guest house, when I talk about my walk and pass on details of the Transition web site, I set out south westwards, heading to Ashon Hayes as a special visit off my route to see the village
People Powered Renewable Co-op
If you are one of those people who want to go renewable, but are not sure how to go about it, Transition Maidenhead may have the answer. The group has set up a co-op to help people navigate the minefield of renewable technologies and take advantage of new Government legislation
Enhancements to the site
We launched this site in March/April 2010 with the lovely big beta sign on it, so that we could gather feedback, issues and bugs. As I wrote then, moving into a new website is a bit like a new house, in that you can’t know what you want
First meeting of Transition Suffolk – a new sub-regional grouping?
There were 22 local Transitioners at Jeannie and Glenn’s farm on Monday evening near Stowmarket, from 10 Transition Initiatives. Most were from Suffolk and a few from Norfolk.
It fulfilled what I have come to expect from these cross-group events: very interesting people, very stimulating discussions, always a pleasure
