Webinars – Exploring the impact, relevance and potential of the Transition movement

Let’s reflect on the past, present and future of our movement.
How is the Transition movement having an impact in different parts of the world? Where do we see energy and potential and where are we struggling? How is our movement responding to the current context of rapidly deepening and accelerating ecological and social crises? And how might the Transition movement evolve and adapt, so that we can get even better at supporting resilience and regeneration in the times that are coming?
Transition Network is supporting a collective evaluation of our distributed, international movement. We’re currently using a survey in multiple languages (http://survey.transitionnetwork.org/) to gather broad feedback from Transitioners and our allies across the world. And now we’re running three online events to enable people in different time zones to go a bit deeper.

These will be interactive events. We’ll share emerging themes from the survey and explore them together, inviting experiences and perspectives from different contexts. We’ll use breakout rooms and create opportunities for you to follow your interests.
Our aim is to identify and deepen our understanding of the key tensions, questions and possibilities currently alive in our movement. We aren’t expecting definitive answers, but hope you will feel nourished and stimulated by the conversation and the connections!
The outputs from all three online events will feed into the wider evaluation process and be shared back with the movement.
Session 1 will be co-facilitated in English and Spanish and we will use English as the main working language/s for sessions 2 and 3. You will be asked about language needs on registration and we will do our best to respond with creative self-organisation.
