# UK Crash course DVD free for UK Transition Initiatives

Chris Martenson, the widely respected driving force behind the ‘Crash Course’ travelled to the UK for a series of talks and meetings earlier this year. While he was here we asked him whether he might do a new version of his famous Crash Course, but tailor it for a specifically UK audience. We also asked him to make it shorter than the over 3 hour Crash Course, as we felt that would be more useful for Transition initiatives. And now we’ve got a free copy for every UK Transition Initiative (see below)…

As a result, a 45-minute UK version of the Crash Course has been produced and is now available free online. Spliced into 6 parts, the 45 min UK version can be [viewed on Youtube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msTW7D%5FrSm4&feature=player%5Fembedded&ref=news.transitionnetwork.org) and part 1 is below (it’s currently the choice item on [our YouTube channel](http://www.youtube.com/user/TransitionTowns?ref=news.transitionnetwork.org) as well as we think it’s great)
