# Sunday 5th May is International Permaculture Day

This Sunday, **5th May 2013**, is [International Permaculture Day](https://www.permacultureday.org/?ref=news.transitionnetwork.org) and what a truly wonderful thing of great beauty and awe that is. Its theme this year is ‘Grow Local!’ which I thought would resonate with you as a reader of this site, and as I am one of its supporters/participants, I thought I would tell you more about it.
