March 2025: Navigating Liminal Times

We are living in liminal times - threshold moments where the old ways are unraveling, yet the new has not fully emerged. From ecological tipping points to political uncertainty, from economic instability to the quiet but persistent work of community resilience, we are in a space of deep transition.

March 2025: Navigating Liminal Times
Togetherness at Udruga Vestigium, Croatia

Dear friends,

We are living in liminal times - threshold moments where the old ways are unraveling, yet the new has not fully emerged. From ecological tipping points to political uncertainty, from economic instability to the quiet but persistent work of community resilience, we are in a space of deep transition. These moments can feel unsettling, but they also hold immense possibility.

In times like these, doing Transition means that we don’t have to passively wait for the future to arrive—we can shape it. Across the world, people are reimagining economies, reclaiming local food systems, and rebuilding relationships with land and each other. This work has never been more vital. As we step into the unknown, let’s do it with courage, creativity, and care.

Yours in solidarity,
Transition Network International team
