The [**Day of Transition Practise**](https://practise.transitionnetwork.org/day-of-transition-practise-2026-full-programme/?ref=news.transitionnetwork.org) (DoTP), taking place next **Friday April 24 2026**, is one such moment: a **24-hour gathering designed to welcome participation across time zones**, wherever you are. A moment where we show the world that community-led action is essential infrastructure. You are welcome to come to one session or the whole day. The programme includes **open cafés** for connection throughout the day, **interactive workshops** (including an imagination session with Filipa Pimentel and Rob Hopkins, and a narrative hacking workshop led by Esther Molina and the Rhizome Fellowship team), as well as **panels showcasing inspiring work** happening in communities worldwide. This **free event** is **open to all**, and we warmly invite you to join us in this shared space of learning, celebration and collective emergence.
